Mark J. Boerner, MD
Oculofacial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon
Dr. Boerner specializes in eyelid and facial plastic surgery and has been in practice in Idaho for over 25 years. He is an expert resource for patients in search of cosmetic surgery and reconstructive oculoplastics. Dr. Boerner is unique in his ability to conduct and oversee comprehensive facial rejuvenation, including procedures to relax, redrape, resurface and refill the aging face… he provides comprehensive care with natural results.
Dr. Boerner is a board-certified oculofacial plastic surgeon, completing his training at the University of Texas and his fellowship at the University of California at San Francisco. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. His practice focuses on eyelid and facial surgery (cosmetic and reconstructive) and includes face/neck lifts, jawline contouring, fat transfers and CO2 laser treatments. He also surgically manages tumors, trauma, and disorders of the face and eyelid. He has performed over 20,000 surgical procedures over the course of his practice and has a unique aesthetic sense to help cosmetic patients maximize their return on investment.
Dr. Boerner is married with four children. In his spare time, he goes on adventures with his family, mountain bikes and skis, and find ways to give back to his community. Dr. Boerner completed a medical mission in Honduras and frequently treats refugees in the Boise community.
Chad H. Jackson, MD
Oculofacial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon
Dr. Jackson graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brigham Young University and with honors from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. He completed an internship in internal medicine and ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center, where he received awards for best intern educator and best research in oculoplastic surgery. He also served as chief resident and was named resident of the year. He received an American Society of Oculoplastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin. In Wisconsin, he was trained to address orbital tumors and orbital and facial trauma, and participated in multi-disciplinary cases with ENT, oral maxillofacial surgery, plastic surgery, and neurosurgery. Dr. Jackson treats the full range of conditions involving the eyelids, tear ducts, and orbit. He is enthusiastically using his skills to perform both functional and cosmetic blepharoplasties.
In his free time, Dr. Jackson enjoys spending time boating, waterskiing, snow skiing, hiking, backpacking, and playing tennis with his wife and four daughters. Dr. Jackson enjoys Boise and serving the community.

Ashley Gulley
Practice Administrator
Ashley Gulley is our practice administrator and brings many years of experience working at Idaho Eyelid and Facial Plastic Surgery. She started as a medical assistant, became a surgery scheduler, and moved up to practice administration. She has strong leadership skills and keeps the team on task delivering the best quality patient care. She trains staff, aids through transition, and has a knack for improving management practices. With three young children at home, Ashley and her husband keep busy when she’s not at the office.
Jennifer Bleymaier
Patient Services Manager
Billing Administrator
Jennifer is from Fort Bragg, California and joined the practice in 2004. She is our team lead for patient services. Her many years working with Dr. Boerner brings efficiency to the medical billing process, which makes for a smooth patient experience. She anchors our practice. Outside of work you will find her enjoying the outdoors with her husband and spending time with her many nieces and nephews.
Lisa Shepard
Medical Assistant
Lisa Shepard joins our practice with over 20 years of ophthalmic and optometric medical assistance. She assists our surgeons in working up patients and scribing. She helps us maintain patient flow and has a great rapport with patients.
Travis Olson
Medical Assistant
Travis joins our practice with three years of clinic experience working in outpatient clinics. After scribing at an orthopedic and neurology surgery center, he then worked at a dermatology clinic as a medical assistant. Travis aids the providers by transcribing patient visits and assisting with office procedures.
Sabrina Wood
Surgery Scheduler
Sabrina has many years of experience as a medical assistant, appointment scheduler, surgery scheduler, and insurance coordinator. She is a detailed-oriented team player who helps our surgeons schedule patients for surgery at multiple locations.
Liz Bussey
Insurance Preauthorization/Surgery Scheduler
Liz Bussey has almost 20 years of experience in the eye care field. She was raised in Wisconsin and earned a BA at the University of Minnesota. Liz spearheads insurance pre-authorizations for our patients, along with surgery scheduling. Liz loves to travel, cook, watch college football and spend time with her husband and two dogs.
Taylor Bruce, RN
Aesthetic Nurse Injector
Taylor Bruce specializes in full face rejuvenation and ensures her patients maintain a natural and refreshed look. She has a Bachelors of Science in Nursing and worked in St Luke’s hospital for 2 years before transitioning to become a cosmetic nurse injector. She prioritizes her training and continued education in the cosmetic field. In 2023, she spent over 100 hours in her continuing medical education. She also has consistent access to the best expertise through our on-site medical directors.
Osana Moad
Medical Receptionist
Osana Moad joins our Practice with experience as both a medical receptionist and a medical assistant. Her strong technical skills and pleasant demeanor makes her a great fit at our office.
Jessica Reif
Medical Receptionist
Jessica is a dedicated professional with 5 years of experience as a scheduler in the ophthalmic field. She has honed her skills in managing schedules and provides exceptional patient services. Outside of work, Jessica enjoys hiking, gardening and painting, which fuels her creativity and appreciation for nature.
Tammy Skidmore
CRNA, APRN
Tammy is a board certified nurse anesthesiologist with almost 20 years of experience. She provides mobile anesthesia services to our surgical patients which improves convenience and efficiency. With portable state-of-the-art monitoring and anesthesia equipment, she sedates patients and focuses on patient safety and comfort. She is also owner/ injector at SkinEnvy Medical Aesthetics.
Joni Hensley
Certified Surgical Technician
Joni Hensley is a Certified Surgical First Assistant and helps both Dr Boerner and Dr Jackson in surgery. She owned her own surgical assisting company in New Mexico where she prepped, draped, sutured, drained, and more. Joni loves to suture and sew and is happiest when she’s using her professional skills to provide top-quality patient care.
