How Is the S lift Performed?
Our surgeons perform the S lift using a tiny S-shaped incision made around the ear. This incision is often well-camouflaged by the hairline, resulting in very natural-looking results. Because the incision is so small in comparison to a full facelift incision, the need for bandages after surgery is reduced.
With the help of two pursestring sutures, the fibrous tissue around the muscles of the face is precisely tightened and lifted. Once wrinkles have been sufficiently drawn and the skin looks naturally younger, stitches are used to close the incisions.
What to Expect During Your Recover
It can take up to four weeks to fully heal after S lift surgery. Immediately following the procedure, patients may consider the need for a friend or family member to help for a couple of days in order to get some rest.
